A Highly Compact System

A wide range of IMUs can be applied for your requested accuracy. As Integration Partner of Applanix and NovAtel we integrate OEM components and provide the related software products for post-processing.

A wide range of GNSS receivers with many firmware-options will provide the best priced, most flexible solution, tailored to your job.

GNSS

Tracking satellites on L1/L2/L5 from GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, GALILEO, SBAS, QZSS and NavIC with up to 555 channels provide the best performance available today.

We also provide dual antenna systems for a drift free heading information which provides additional support for the IMU especially during longer straight flight lines.

AeroDiDOS sends NMEA data and additional information to communicate with external devices, e.g. sensors, FMS…

Interfacing

AeroDiDOS is an advanced device for mission navigation and camera control, using refresh rates of 10 Hz (default) or optional 20Hz and precise attitude measurements. A bi-directional RS232 communication with AeroTopoL FMS supports camera trigger and camera event management:

  • Release of an aerial camera using electronic trigger switch (potential free)

  • Event-based positioning and attitude with a 1/10-sec accuracy

  • Determining event signal of the camera on an open collector

INS

The connection of various low grade FOGs and MEMs or up to tactical grade IMUs with accuracy better than 0.003° widens the range for your application. There is always an upgrade path for your further sensor combination (e.g. long ranging LiDAR). Very small, lightweight and accurate MEMS IMUs assist for unmanned applications.

Storage

Postprocessing

Postprocessing using either PosPack or Inertial Explorer,  supports you with many options to calculate virtual base stations, use your own reference stations or a net of public reference stations (e.g. RINEX formats) but also enables PPP workflow where no reference station data are available

GNSS and IMU data can be processed  tightly or loosely coupled. In addition, the leverarms can be applied as well as floating leverarms using the correction angles of a stabilizer.

The post processing software helps to solve boresight angles and shift parameters to adjust the final results of the sensor.
